Emilie Mayeur

Born in 1992 in the north of France, Emilie Mayeur developed a passion for reading at an early age, particularly thrillers and fantasy.
Born into a family of teachers and schoolmasters, she let her godmother enter her in a writing competition when she was at secondary school. She realised that as well as discovering adventures set in other worlds, she also enjoyed creating them.
However, she initially decided to study sciences and became a medical device engineer. Then, caught up by the desire to put stories down on paper, she began writing novels in addition to her original profession.
Her first novel, Petroria – The Legend of the Creators, was published in 2022, followed by the second volume a year later.
Dreaming of bringing characters to life and devising plots for film and television, she graduated as a scriptwriter in 2022.
